Firia Labs\’ CodeAIR Fly is an autonomous Drone with Python and Machine Learning Onboard! It helps your students learn Python and AI Fundamentals*. CodeAIR is an incredibly capable flying robotics platform coupled with an easy-to-use Python coding environment in CodeSpace. Firia Labs\’ Fly with Python curriculum begins with students writing their first lines of Python code to light CodeAIR\’s LEDs. From there, engaging projects (Missions) lead them step-by-step into the world of autonomous drone flight. Features include: Open Hardware DesignCodeAIR is a great introduction to the electronics and software technologies that enable stable quadcopter flight. Camera and Machine LearningHow\’s your Python code going to make sense of the camera data? How about a neural network? CodeAIR\’s onboard AI Accelerator runs TensorFlow Lite, an industry standard machine learning engine. Highlights: High-performance micro drone safe, but incredibly powerful and capable! Onboard camera and AI engine lets your code \”see\” the environment. Learn the fundamentals of AI with neural network models you can hold in your hand! With the projects, academic rigor, and authenticity you expect from Firia Labs! Built for Python, on the foundation of Firia Labs CodeBot and CodeX robotics. Integrated with CodeSpace the only drone with a dedicated STEM Learning Platform. Optional Remote Control with CodeX While CodeAIR is uniquely designed for autonomous missions programmed in Python – eliminating the need for a traditional remote controller – some may still want the excitement and hands-on learning that comes from a radio-linked flight experience. Thats where the CodeX comes in. By writing Python code to implement a digital radio telemetry protocol, you can transform the CodeX into a fully functioning remote controller that offers real-time interactivity! Teach digital \”packet communication\” protocol fundamentals. Customize! Every aspect of the radio link and control logic is open for exploration and modification, providing a deeper STEM learning experience. Unique to CodeAIR – pairing with CodeX unlocks a whole new dimension of discovery and engagement in drone technology.
